If you become a Friend of the theatre there are a range of activities and privileges as a reward for your support. You will be provided with opportunities to meet many of the illustrious names of screen and stage as well as being an integral part of the theatre's social events. You will enjoy a chance to interact with those that share your passion for theatre.
In detail these are the levels of benefits to individuals or businesses that make contributions:
- £1 to £99: Our grateful thanks.
- £100 to £999: Inclusion on a list of donations and a regular newsletter.
- £1,000 to £4,999: Friends of the Pavilion Repertory Theatre - As above + Invitation to fund raising event, plus advance notice of events allowing early securing of best seats, + chance to meet visiting stars.
- £5,000 to £10,000. As above plus name on two seats in dress circle in second row.
- £10,001 and above. As above except that name is on two seats in dress circle in front row. £50,000 and above. As above plus name included in a permanent stone set in the foyer of the theatre commemorating and honoring you as a leading benefactor.
- The re-opening of the theatre will be a significant cultural figurehead in the regeneration of Swansea's High Street. Following on from the stunning redevelopment of the Grand Hotel, The Pavilion would be a second beautiful Victorian structure rejuvenated, providing an attractive contrast to the exciting 'SA1' development and is Further significant as Swansea seeks to re-brand itself as the model of a twenty-first century city - mindful of its past and eager to embrace the future.
- The re-opening of the theatre will enhance Swansea's reputation as a centre for the arts, encouraging the development of young, local talent under the capable tutorage of experienced and skilled practitioners.
- The publicity garnered from Swansea's enhanced cultural standing will also attract large numbers of theatre-goers to the area, thus aiding local business and accelerating the regeneration of Swansea's historic High Street further still.
